You might want to call it the "first" or innaugural or first ever .... some events have been jinxed by being billed as "first annual."

The event was a huge success! To everyone involved: Thanks! Arix, Your video was awesome! The best "1st annual" event ever. And it was very cold and people still hung out! Made me proud to be a part of 30A!

Great job, Arix, and a big thank you to the surfers, photographers, videographers, and sponsors! Yes, it was cold as ba-geezers, but many people braved the weather and had an awesome time. This was one of the coolest events we've had around here.
