Foster parents.....
Adopt A Dog is in desperate need of foster homes for dogs awaiting adoption.
Foster homes select the breed type, age, etc of the dogs they would like to foster.
Adopt A Dog, takes care of all the vet. costs, etc.
Foster homes just give love and guidance to there foster child/dog.
I know I hear from so many people, "I am afraid to foster because I will get to attached." Yes, that does happen some times.
Another way to look at it is you are helping save a dogs life. You are giving it a chance that it would not have in a shelter.
Please think about helping, there are so many dogs out there that could be saved from euthanasia if there were a foster home for them.
Thanks so much for taking the time to read this post."We can judge the heart of a man by his treatment of animals."

I have 2 foster dogs and although we are attached when the time comes and there is a good home I will let them go. I have 3 other dogs of my own but have the room and wanted to help them if I could. Please consider fostering a dog if you are able!

Thank you so much wracso@hotmail. for your support.
It is so easy to sit back and complain.
I currently have two fosters, which brings my household up to 7.
They are never too much trouble."We can judge the heart of a man by his treatment of animals."

one eyed Pekingese
We are getting a one eyed Pekingese on Friday.
He/She really could use a foster home. I am not sure on the gender of the dog. Just got a request from Bay County Animal Shelter for us to take the dog, if not it would be euthanized.
Could someone please open their home and heart to this little one?"We can judge the heart of a man by his treatment of animals."

Update
I picked up the one eyed Pekingese. She is very sweet and really needs the benefit of a foster home.
The story behind her was she was found wandering in a neighborhood with her eye hanging out. She is friendly and gets along with other dogs.
She will also be up for adoption as soon as we can get her into the veterinarian to be examined and spayed."We can judge the heart of a man by his treatment of animals."

I am mother of four dogs. None were planned. I have ambulation problems and worried about the chaos..but the dogs have adjusted beautifully to my rules. I highly recommend watching the Dog Whisper...He helped me a lot in managing and understanding dog behavior. You'll need to establish yourself as the Rule Maker/Enforcer...You can do it..remember a dog that has exercised off their excess energy, are much more compliant and much more grateful to the one who buys the dog food...My personal greatest challenge was preventing my husband from sabotaging the rules and behavioral limits I worked on with my dog. FYI I am reading a wonderful book , The Story of Edgar Sawtelle...You can read it to your dogs...You'll do what's right for you. Oh and have them spayed, if you decide to go for it....
