Time Change for LSU game...

They have moved the time of the LSU Appy state game to 10 am due to the chance of Gustav hitting the area.

From what I've heard, the time change also nixed ESPN's broadcast of the game.

From the article it said it will be on ESPN Classic Live.

The funny thing is that there are probably a substantial number of people who would rather just concede the game to Appy State rather than endure a shockingly early kickoff and a (gulp) fourth quarter at high noon in late August in BRLA. Hot, hot, hot!

Just think of all the people drinking and sitting in the HOT sun. Kinda makes me think of the beach in front of LaFeelya in PCB during spring break..

Got this email from LSU Emerald Coast Bayou Bengals, the local LSU Alumni chapter:

The game will be on TV at Twisted Palms at 10am, they are opening up early for us. ESPN CLASSIC will broadcast the game, it will not be on basic cable here in Destin/ Fort Walton...you will not see the game if you don't have ESPN Classic. SO, come watch the game with Tiger Fans tomorrow morning!!! We will be there, we look forward to seeing all of you too!!! GEAUX TIGERS!!!

we found out today our neighbors are leaving for Hawaii tommorow. What a perfect time to go on vacation!!

...thank you for the info! My niece says they changed the time of the game and canceled classes in the hope that students will go home!
