Alligator Lake: A photographic book on our Coastal Dune Lakes

Hey Good people of SoWal!

So I decided to join the masses and be a SoWal 'abuser'!- [or is that 'user'?]
[cue in loud audible cheers].

I wanted to share with you guys a book I've been putting together about our Coastal Dune Lakes.
Specifically, it's a photographic book on Alligator Lake, as it's the Lake I do a little Volunteering on for the CBA [The Choc. Basin Alliance]. The Fonville Press at Alys Beach has agreed to purchase 10 books from me- so if you or anyone else you know want to check it out- it can be found there. Or will be just as soon as it comes in. [Let me know if you anyone has any problems.].
There's a small forward I wrote about why it's personal to me; how I came about it and why these Coastal Dune Lakes are so important. The rest of the book is broken up into different 'photographic' chapters: The Woods; Water; Sand; Gulf.

I hope the book does our area justice and you guys like it. Constructive Criticism is always welcome. [I know I'm going to regret saying that, aren't I?]. Eventually, my next project is to put together a book of all the Coastal Dune Lakes.

Thanks and I'm sure I'll be running my mouth on current topics from time to time- being the opinionated New Yorker that I am.

I'd say give it about a week or 2.
Also, I think I'll be there July 11th for a book signing.

Though it isn't exactly a money making prospect remember that there are local libraries. Such as the public library on 331 and some resorts have them too.

No. It never occurred to me that I'm as 'discovered as I'm going to get'...Where's the fun in that?
Besides, I've only just begun promoting it and myself- why call it quits after only a few attempts.
Hell, if every time I called it quits because something was tough to get going-I'd never get anything done!

But-Thanks for the 'reality check' all the same.
