Many thanks for the wonderful birthday wishes folks! Back at the grindstone today. I was away from work for one week day and I had 260 + emails to wade through. I found an easy way to deal with this problem. Control-A then delete..zzzrrrpp-ping!

We arrived at about midnight Thursday and awoke to a beautiful Friday morning. Then the cell started ringing from work
and didn't stop until I turned it off five minutes later. Whoops.

We had a great trip to Orange Beach (land of the high rises). If you are having doubts about how beautiful
SoWal beaches are, take a trip west and you'll find out. The beaches there are nice, but do not compare.
The have done a ton of dredging over there. The beaches are very wide but VERY flat. No dunes or vegetation to speak of. The dredging has uncovered a ton of shells which makes for fun walks down the beach. One weird thing going on is the stingrays were acting very strange. They were beaching themselves for some reason. The were really unhappy about something. Maybe they wanted to end it all. Who knows.

We did catch pile o' fish though. We caught mostly whiting and bluefish. That was a bunch of fun.

I bet that was a sight to see the stingrays like that....my brother stepped on one time and had to have surgery to remove the bar....hurt like he&& he said. Glad you caught some fish, did you eat any of them yet? Have a great day back at the grindstone!!!

We did get some pics and I'll post them as soon as the wifey sends them to me. The little one had a great trip. This is the first trip to the beach where he could actually run around in the sand on his own. The past trips, he couldn't walk too well and he was miserable sitting in the sand all day.

About the fish, we threw them all back. I wasn't in a fish cleaning mood this weekend but now I'm wishing I had come back with a couple.

The internet connection at the house is not working again. That stupid thing is worthless. On one day, off the next.

In my experience with Charter Comm, I have witnessed the worst service I have ever seen. And they do not seem to care. And guess what? I just got a notice in the mail that my monthly premium for cable/internet is going up by twenty dollars.

Well, hate to hear that LL. You best be moving to a new "hood". Or, I guess it would be cheaper to check into the dish, even though "The Dish Is A Disease".

I have Charter for my cable service, but just couldn't see paying the prices for internet with them, when I could get DSL. Perhaps it will be available in your area soon!!!!!
