    It's Girl Scout Cookie Time!

Girl Scout Daisy Kate and I can hook ya up with Girl Scout Cookies.

Also IBD/Little IBD are in the Brownie Troop this year- and pushing cookies too!

    Your 2008 cookie options are:

    Caramel Delites (Samoas)
    Peanut Butter Patties
    Shortbread (Trefoils)
    Thin Mints
    Peanut Butter Sandwich (Doh-si-dohs)
    Thanks-a-lot
Lemonades (last year's favorite by a long shot)
    Cinna-spins 100 cal pack

    $3.50/box
Variety pack (1 box of each) $25.00 (save $3)

Zero trans fat as listed on nutritional info.

If you know a SoWal Girl Scout and want some cookies, give them a shout!

    Thanks!

Thin Mints are amazing, 'specially when stored in the freezer. I've been in roommate situations where stealing Thin Mints is a capitol offense.

    I love the Doh-si-Dohs.....

A little Girl Scout trivia....the same cookies aren't offered in every region and some cookies have different names...ie Lemon Pastry cremes....which are very good. I believe their is a cookie offered in our area called Tag-a-Longs.

I really didn't like selling cookies when I was in Scouts but I still have the charms I won. However, when I was in college, I was a junior troop leader as well as the "cookie mom" (no one would take the job). SO- I ended up with many, many cases of cookies in my dorm room. Against all rules (what a poor role model!), I sold lots of boxes out of my room. Ahhh....good times.....

Tag-a-longs are the absolute BEST! As a girl scout, I would order enough boxes to last me through the next cookie sale.

Wow that is early, she must be with a troop from Bay county to get the cookies so early....

SCK, I posted several days ago and for some reason today, it did not show. Wierd....

For some reason Girl Scouts of America decided to change the name of some of the cookies. I dont understand it at all. At least they kept the Thin Mint name.

Our Brownie troop will also be having booth sales after the cookies are in. That way you can pay for and take your cookies right away. If anyone has a business that has lots of foot traffic PM me if we could set up a booth sale. I am not sure if JDargs Daisy troop will be doing a booth sale or not.

Now, you know me better than that. I leave the big time cookie stuff to the Brownies.

Our council order due date is Feb. 11 (Monday), so I need all orders to me by Friday Feb. 8th. Due to the mountain of Girl Scout paperwork, it will take me the entire weekend to get the order ready to submit. The Brownies have the same date and over 20 girls, so if you are ordering from a local Brownie, do IBD and the other leaders a favor and get those orders in early- I see an all-nighter in their future!

I thought the money isn't due until the cookies are delivered.

Our council (Girl Scouts of NW Florida) was very firm about not collecting money until delivery.

Please post where your booth sales are. Do the girls still qualify for free summer camp if they sell LOTS? I use to do that every year. Of course, when I was a child, all I had to sell was 500 boxes of cookies and I was off to Camp Tanasi for a week free of charge!

    Great memories!!!

for some reason this year they are not doing the free camp for top seller. I think it is an ipod or something??? Each council has different "prizes" and are never worth the trouble but the girls like them. THey do have a cool tshirt this year though...

I want 6 boxes of Lemonades and 2 Thin Mints. Skunky, I suggest you divide that order and get a check to IBD and JDarg asap! We all know how unpleasant I can be if I miss out on GS Cookie season....

I know there are several different GS bakeries across the country and they feature different cookies. Can you describe or post a pic of the lemonades? I LOVE lemon GS cookies and if these are what I think they might be...I have to have some! We have the lemon sandwich kind up here.

A lemonade is a big round lemon flavored sugar-cookie type cookie, with lemon icing on one side. Very addictive.

When will you get the cookies, after ordering? If I can coordinate with when I will be in the area, I will get some too.

    YouTube - Cookie Time

The cute little red head with long hair is Jenny Lewis of Rilo Kiley!!!

Got my thin mints and am trying not to eat the whole box in one sitting!

I bought FOUR boxes of them. I also bought 2 boxes of lemonades for my Dad, but I just delivered the whole kit-n-kaboodle to him. Sounds like BB is finally going to introduce me to my fiance this weekend and I can't be all engorged on Thin Mints...
