Re: SoWal Trivia
I didn't forget!
Points for trying!
Didn't make it last night - but thought I would post a hint today.
Orig question:
What had a bunch of people running around in summer clothes during a very cold winter at about 2am with flashlights in Seaside?
Hint:
This did really happen. It was for something big, that was a big deal. If you were lucky enough to be a part of it, you have pretty good bragging rights to be involved in something that is popular worldwide.

Re: SoWal Trivia
Well, I wouldn't consider myself cool, but definetly funky. You are probably thinking of Brian. He's much bigger than I, taller and much wider, and 10 years older. And the former owner of Margaux, which was named after his daughter.
However I was working for him when I created drunkkenart. It was truly wine inspired.....

Re: SoWal Trivia

Good going! Anyone else 'member seeing the signs around for "Truman Show" and the rumors were that is was about the Prez Truman because we hadn't been told anything yet.
It is really hard to watch that movie, because I always get distracted playing the "I know you" game.
I know her! Oh that's Mr and Mrs.. I know them! Hey isn't that?

Re: SoWal Trivia
I'm still shocked when I meet someone who hasn't seen the movie or doesn't see the resemblance of the town in the movie and one of our subdivisions.

I figured there were a lot of new posters and they might have questions or fun tidbits to add. I'll kick it off.
What was the lowest price paid for a Grayton home?

Was it the little house on Sandy Lane? I think it was bought for a little over 300.00. Just a guess.

I want to know who was the first poster on SoWal, not counting Kurt, of course, and what the heck was the first conversation about.
My mind tends to wander... but fortunately, it's so weak, it doesn't get very far...

The first 5 members were kurt, GraytonBound, Uncle Timmy, and Teresa. My hubby cnestg8r was 20th (he lurked for a while). SJ was 27th, KDW was 45th, Sheila (GTTBM) was 55th, Jdarg was 69th, Franny was 102nd, Miss Kitty was 151st, Sharon G (TFT) was 179th, I was 210th.
As far as first posts go, I'll have to research that.
BTW I just listed the first 5 members, top 10 posters, and moderators until I got to myself (LOL). Got tired of counting.
