Moving Companies

Hello all. I am working to get quotes for a residential move and was wondering if anyone had a good recommendation for a moving company, or as importantly, ones I should avoid. So far, I have heard to check with Allied. Thanks in advance!

Out of state, about 400 miles.

A friend of mine has used PMS (professional moving service?) a few times and thought they did a good job, but it was a local move. Maybe they'll do a 400 mile move. Whatever you do, don't hire one based on a quote they gave you over the internet. Always make sure you have someone that can come and give you an in person estimate.
