Coastal Living Magazine Takes over D&K

I have not been on in almost a week....it's been crazy!

We were excited to be chosen by Coastal Living Magazine as the ideal spot to dine and party for their 10 year anniversary. Pictures to come later. What a fun group. They know how to partay! Champagne flowed the whole night....my kind of people!

They came in a big bus and the driver threatened to leave them as he wanted to get home and go to bed!!!! They just couldn't stop! Wonderful group from all over meeting together to celebrate 10 years. They had old footage of Seaside and Grayton Beach in their slide show. It was GRAYT!

It was also a celebration of the purchase of Cottage Living Magazine. The Cottage Living group partied at Cafe 30A. I'm sure some of you must have run into them as they were here for three days.....enjoying SoWal!!!

Wish you all could have been there! Better pictures to come. As the night fell over Grayton Beach the party took on a life of it's on!

Congrats! I knew they were at Rosemary at a friend's house, but how wonderful for you! Party Place Palace!

Would someone please ask these magazine people to stop publishing all of these articles about SoWal!

They are going to spoil it for the rest of us. Next thing you know, they will be telling people to visit SoWal during the worst two months.

Funny, I just got my renewal notice today for Coastal Living.

Thank you SM.26 It was a lot of funn! I was really surprised at how young these peeps were that are at the top of the magazine....and 98% women!

Sorry SJ....I think we're about 10 years too late on that one. I can still remember the knot I got in my stomach when that article came out naming Grayton Beach NO. 1 Beach in Continental US 15 years ago.

But on the other side I've met so many neat people who have moved here to get away from the rat race

like many SoWaller friends!!!!!

Welll, yes....but only after it had taken place!

We have a neat plaque they gave out to go on the wall.
Only a few more dayz and you'll be here! It was beautiful today!!! A TEN!

Sorry Pelican Porch to be so late in answering ....been on an eighth grade graduation trip to Orlando. Whooo what FUNN!

As for which issue....geez I don't know if we'll be in an upcoming issue or if the pictures of their party at the cafe will make it. But most of all we are so happy that they chose our restaurant to have their ten year anniversary party for the President and all his close top people. It was also a celebration that the magazine Cottage Living had been purchased by Coastal Living and everyone was very excited. It was some party!!!! Let us know if you see anything!
