Mermaid's Condo in The Sun?

Hey, did anyone see the letter to the editor about what great a great time and service one of our visitors had while they were here for the Seaside Half Marathon? It mentions that they stayed at Hidden Beach Villas at a place called Mermaid Cove. Is that Mermaid's place? They were complimenting the management at the condo because they had left their jewelry behind and called Huey the manager who retrieved the jewelry from the condo and is sending it to them.

Yes, that was our little condo they were talking about. Sometimes I complain up the wazoo to our condo management about how old-fashioned Hidden Beach Villas is, but when something wonderful like this happens, I'm very glad for good old-fashioned values like honesty and courtesy.

It made my husband and me very happy because this particular guest was one who'd stayed with us before--I love our repeat renters! I always think that with all the choices there are to stay in SoWal, if someone comes to stay again at the same place, we must be doing something good.

I am sorry dear Kurt, but we were deep cleaning above-mentioned condo for about four plus hours yesterday. I was pretty testy after that and wouldn't have made a good dining companion (Merman either since he got the sharp end of my (&)&* tongue last night...doesn't clean up to Mermaid standards

). However, jdarg shared leftovers from D&K Cafe with us this morning and I think we made a mistake! We SHOULD have joined you for some of that heavenly food, cranky tempers be dammed.

Congrats Merm on a wonderful renter-rentee story for your place! I think we should have a SoWallers tour of our different places someday. It would be funn. Your place does look beautiful.
