Amore - closed for dinner Thursday, 3/8

Hi guys.... Olive's sister here...

Olive is taking Am out for a well-deserved night on the town tomorrow to see Spearhead in Mobile. Since the season is about to get going, they are going to take advantage of one last night out!

Amore will be open Thursday for lunch, but closed for dinner. Regular hours will resume Friday.

Good for them!!! The restaurant business can be brutal unless you know how to take time off to enjoy life.

I read the title and thought it meant that they were closed for dinner...for good.....

thank goodness Olive is only taking a much deserved temporary break!

Just taking my hubby to see Michael Franti and Spearhead. Actually, we will be meeting up with some SoWal friends!

Am will be back in office tomorrow slingin' pizza again!

Hi everyone,

Business first...SNS just call Am at 850.267.2202 and let him know when to expect you. Enjoy!

Ok...Had a wonderful night out. Stayed in downtown Mobile at the Malaga Inn. Nice old hotel, very convenient to Dauphin St. Had good beer and chicken wings at the Hurricane Brewery. We were supposed to have dinner with some Sowallers but got to Mobile a little later than expected.

The show was AMAZING!! He played for 2 straight hous but it seemed like 30min. They are fantastic performers, lots of energy. We saw a lot of beach people there. Everywhere we turned we saw someone else we knew!

Today, voice is cracking from all the second-hand smoke (apparently still ok to smoke inside in AL) and moving a little slow. Now, I'm off to take a cat nap.

Am just left to open for lunch. Hope to see you there!
