Something Steve did not mention and I hope he is still offering this , he put the 3m film on all my windows last year and now I do not have to put boards up over the windows when we get a storm,he was fast on time cleaned up after and was very resonable . Highly recommended.

Great to know about you, Mr Window Guy. I am asking you a question. Few days I have purchased plantation shutters from a well reputed furniture shops. But two days back, I am noticing a pale spot on the shutter. Those spots are pretty rough too .Can you tell me what's happening here in this newly purchased shutters? Thanks in advance.

    Re: Window Treatements & Shutters

Somtimes on installed plantation shutters there is a little caulking/chalk stick residue in certain spots.
These are used to hide drill holes.
Can't tell for sure without seeing it.
Try a damp soft towel and try to wipe away the mark, especially if it feels gritty.
If not, it could be an imperfection in paint/staining.
You may have have to call the install company back to inspec!

    Thanks
    Steve
