Well, it looks like the shuttle made it home safe. Good news!
I know I don't get there often enough,
but God knows I surely try
It's a magic kind of medicine,
that no doctor could prescribe.

Yea... Special seats in those things to make room for the large ones it takes to ride.

Thank God that they landed safely! I was certain when W got on the phone with them on national TV last week that he was basically saying goodbye forever because he was at such a loss for words. Oh, wait ... he's always at a loss for words. (Don't get defensive, W fans - I voted for him, too.)

Y'all know that once in a great while, the plane that transports the shuttle from California back to Kennedy SC will make a refeuling stop at Eglin. Not every trip, but there have been times people have seen them taking off over Choctawhatchee Bay from the twin cities area.

Reminds me of a mama opposum carrying the babies on her back.
I hear they refuel that jet twice on the to Florida from Calif. Maybe we will get a photo if we know when they are coming over.
