Shuttle
Well, it looks like the shuttle made it home safe. Good news!
I know I don't get there often enough,
but God knows I surely try
It's a magic kind of medicine,
that no doctor could prescribe.

Re: Shuttle
Yea... Special seats in those things to make room for the large ones it takes to ride.

Re: Shuttle
They might not have to adjust my seat either but I'm almost certain it would require a good cleaning.

Re: Shuttle
Thank God that they landed safely! I was certain when W got on the phone with them on national TV last week that he was basically saying goodbye forever because he was at such a loss for words. Oh, wait ... he's always at a loss for words. (Don't get defensive, W fans - I voted for him, too.)

Re: Shuttle
I know I would enjoy the view once I got there, but I'm just not comfortable sitting on top of a missle.

Re: Shuttle
I want nothing to do with that. Too early, boring anyway.

Y'all know that once in a great while, the plane that transports the shuttle from California back to Kennedy SC will make a refeuling stop at Eglin. Not every trip, but there have been times people have seen them taking off over Choctawhatchee Bay from the twin cities area.

Re: Shuttle
Ditto for me, too. I wasn't trying to pick a political fight (thus my disclaimer). I am sincerely happy that the crew made it back alive.

Now there's a real truck driver - 85-90 tons that thing weighs empty...

Expect they'll have more detail later. Then again, might not publish exact schedule (where/when) to avoid making it more of a target for baddies.

Re: Shuttle
I saw the shuttle being transported over Destin once. Although don't remember which one - I must of killed that brain cell. Or maybe I was just drinking when I thought I saw it!

Smiling JOe, I don't think they understood the double entendre of your comment. :laughing1

I thought this was how they made baby shuttles.
