What's closed in January?

I know Onano was going to close for most of the month (Is that still correct, Miss Vixen?) What other places are closed? My mother is there this week, and I'm headed down next. We probably won't be going out much -- as we'll have a few kids in tow -- but nothing is worse than showing up at a restaurant for your one night out and it's CLOSED!

The Sugar Shak in Rosemary is closed. Hubby went there with kids in tow on Dec. 31 and all they had left was orange sherbet.

Seems since that was their last day until March they didn't order any other flavors. You would think they would do better than that during what seemed to be a very busy long weekend for the area.

I don't know ... hadn't heard about the new space, too worked up about the orange sherbet.

Yep, Onano is closed for the month of January. They will re-open in the beginning of February, but I don't know the exact date. Onanochef should be able to giv you the full details, though.

Last time I was down, Sugar Shak said they were going to move across 30-A. I think the space is next to the new Starbucks. (Was the starbucks open yet?) The space is suppose to be much bigger. And will be easier to get to from the beach. So maybe the move will be ok -- although it won't be as quaint!

Hi, it's me Kathy from D&K's. Just wanted to post our hours for January since you're asking who is closed.

We will be CLOSED Sunday-Tuesday and
OPEN Wednesday - Saturday evenings 5:00-9:30 p.m.

We are also offering for a January special buy one entree & get the second one 1/2 price. So grab a friend and come enjoy a quiet winter evening.

Also like to mention the bar is a great little gathering spot for ladies that want a glass of wine after work and an appetizer.

A special thanks to all of you who came in to start the New Year off...it began on Friday night and went right through NY'sE!!!!
