Description: this is good for when you have company or family, but it's not low fat.
Preparation:
1.5 lbs. ground beef
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 (26oz.) spaghetti sauce
1 tsp. italian seasoning
1 (10 oz.) pckg. frozen, chopped spinach thawed and drained
2 C. shredded monterey jack cheese
1.5 C. sour cream
1 lg. egg lightly beaten
1 tsp. garlic salt
8 oz. egg noodles (cooked, drained)
1.5 C. shredded parmesan cheese
Instructions:
(some of this is written for a kindergartener to comprehend.)
Cook first 4 ingredients in a large non-stick skillet over med. heat until no longer pink. Drain and return to skillet. Stir in spaghetti sauce and italian seasoning
In seperate bowl, combine spinach, jack cheese, sour cream and egg. Fold in noodles and spoon mixture into a lightly greased 13X9 baking dish. Sprinkle with 1/2 parm. cheese. Top with beef mixture and remaining parm.
Bake at 350 for 30+ minutes or until bubbly.
to prepare ahead: bake as directed cover and freeze. thaw in fridge overnight. bake covered @ 350/30 mins. uncovered 10
