Didn't mean to deliver depressing news for you. The good news is that the cottages are now again, affordable. I know several people who bought early, near this price, and are able to break even on cash flow from rentals.

I noticed that a 2br/2Ba home in this development has been listed for $199,000. Does anyone know why there is such a wide variance pricing in this development. Also, why is so many home for sale in here ?

The most recent sales in there come in around $250,000, so I would guess that the only reason why that new listing would come on the market at $199,000 is because they really want to sell quickly. That price should do the trick. The $199,000 house is slightly smaller and has two bedrooms, rather than three, but that is still a good deal.
