SEEN: Beautiful siamese cat!
There was a beautiful Siamese cat in the parking lot, at Tuffy's Auto Repair in Destin. It wouldn't come to me, but, I tried to catch it. This was around 5 pm yesterday. I'm not sure that it's still around there, but, if anyone's missing one, maybe it's your baby. There # is 269-2300, if you want to ask if they've seen it, today.
Good luck!

Thanks to Diane for calling me, to see if it might be my Angel. Unfortunately, it wasn't...but I did find out more.
The guys at Tuffy's didn't know anything about it, but the peeps next door at Back Yard Burgers confirm that they have been leaving food out for it for months. They do not think it belongs to anyone and are afraid that it will get hit someday. They told me that if I could catch it, I could have it but that the cat was a bit wild (not feral, just not used to humans). Of course, I couldn't get it to come closer to me. I threw a few kitty treats and it did eat them, and once it acted like it was about to get a little closer, but then turned and dove into the landscaping by Southern Resorts.
I'd go down every evening and work on getting its confidence and taming it a little, but I live too far away. It is beautiful, and needs a safe home!

Help with catching kitty
Anyone have any suggestions on assistance, in catching the cat? We need an organization, that has a trap. I'm also worried about it getting hit and worse! Sounds like ShallowsNole, may provide it a home! Please help!

Diane4145, check your PMs...I think your box is full -
We have relatives who haven't grasped the idea of spay/neuter yet, so I have a continual supply of kittens. But, the reason we haven't adopted another one yet is that I am worried about my continual eye infections (those who know me, can tell you how red my eyes often are) which have gotten much better since we have become catless, and would possibly go away if we were dogless and dustless. That, and our track record with cats isn't real great lately, and I hate to tell someone I'll give a cat a good home and then it becomes a snack for a coyote, owl, hawk, allligator, etc.
All that being said, if I'd been able to pet it, it would have come home with me last night.
