Now I am hearing that there are plans to turn an old pit in Red Bay into a construction debris landfill. Don't they already have a lot of problems with those landfills in Portland? I have not seen this on any public agendas, but some of you that follow the planning stuff, fill me in if you know. Thanks.

7 out of 10 Walton County voters reject democrat principles.
I am not aware of any impending plans but a C & D landfill is often an integeral part of the DEP permit for a mining operation. It is considered part of the reclaimation plan. Nothing out of the ordinary.
