I look for customer service out of Tallahassee to markedly increase after this. While it is not much of a cut, 2% on those making over $45K, I still think it is a bit insulting since they have not raised the pay in the last three years, just provided those $750 dollar bonuses. Do not remember if they did that each year or just one time.

State employees much like County and City employees are constantly abused by the pay scales. To then take away from them isn't so much an insult as a really hard nudge in the direction of finding other employment.

So true. Got to wonder why they are sticking around. I think it is going to leave us with the really dedicated to public service and those that can not find employment anywhere else. I can only hope there will be more of the former than the latter.
