New low cost medical & dental clinic open in SOWAL
I am kind of surprised there is no buzz about this. This sounds like a great asset to those in our community who work hard but have difficulty paying for medical services (especially dental!).
Low-cost medical-dental clinic to open in Walton | medical, beach, open - News - Northwest Florida Daily News
Quote:
PanCare of Florida Inc., which provides medical and dental services to about 5,000 low-income residents in the Panama City area, is expanding into Walton County. A new office where residents can receive primary care on a sliding-fee scale — payments based on an individual’s or family’s income level — is expected to be fully operational by the middle of this month, said Mike Hill, PanCare’s CEO.
The clinic will operate out of the same building as the Walton County Health Department at the South Walton Annex in Santa Rosa Beach....

Especially the dental! What good news! The lack of affordable dental care in Walton County is the one complaint I've heard over and over again while trying to research the need for a free medical clinic in Walton County. Now, if we just had an oral surgeon that was willing to serve the medically underserved, we'd have a great little medical safety net in Walton County.

Even better, no cost medical!
Your husband and family are very appreciated, for his service! My son was in the Army full time and it realy ticked me off, when he left with no real benefits! The Destin Church of Christ has a medical clinic, with no cost. It's called The Hope Medical Clinic and their number is, 850-837-8424. destincofc.faithsite.com/uploads/928/91231.pdf

Thanks Skunkape! I am seeing more and more 'clinics' like this open! Haven't seen one for dental, yet.
Believe it or not - I've seen clinics like this open even for animals! Interesting what a funky economy does by bringing out such pure goodness!
