Seagrove Garden Club To Launch the Holiday Season
On November 12th the Seagrove Garden Club happily welcomes Russ Barley of Emerald Coast Florist. It is always standing-room-only when Russ speaks and demonstrates how to create elegant holiday arrangements. For the November 12th event the club will meet at Santa Rosa Beach Club for the luncheon and program.
The Christmas meeting and lunch on December 12th is a tradition as well. The December program is the annual pot luck and auction the club sponsors to raise money for people and charities in need during the holidays. Last year over $2,500 was raised and helped deliver Christmas to many families in the community. The food is always fantastic and the auction is guaranteed to be fun and exciting. This year the club will hold the program at Christ the King Episcopal Church.
The club, which has a long, local history in that it was first chartered in 1963, meets the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 10:00AM. The cost to attend each meeting, program and lunch is $18 for members and $23 for non members. Reservations are required for all meetings and must be received by the Saturday prior to the meeting.
