I am going to talk to Grayton Beach State Park peeps and see if they can post some more of the new signs asking people to protect the dune areas. When you see signs the current signs as seen in the photo, it is confusing, maybe even for locals. They see the well-worn path throught the dunes, so they think a dune is a hill.

I'm confused....do the local photographers know they are breaking the law? Do they know they are damaging the dunes/sea oats? Do they care? How can we expect vacationers to follow rules when the locals disregard them so carelessly? What happened to publishing the names of these offenders? I am steamed. -

If the local photographers read this board, they would know, otherwise, they may not. The signs, as other people say, are confusing. This sign is posted next to a well-worn footpath. The signs need to refer to the preserved dune area and include language, keep out.
