There was a Duncan C. or L.? Anderson with an 1856 Florida Land Grant. Would have to check with GPS to see exactly where this is:
According to the provisions of the Act of Congress of the 24th of April, 1820, entitled "An act making further provision for the sale of the Public Lands, "for the West half of the South East quarter of Section thirty six in Township two North of Range eighteen West in the district of lands subject to sale at Tallahassee Florida containing Seventy nine acres and ninety seven hundredths of an acre."
