Volunteer Training at Walton County Heritage Museum on Sept. 1, 5:30 p.m.

JOIN THE FUN!! VOLUNTEER AND DOCENT TRAINING FOR WALTON COUNTY HERITAGE MUSEUM SET FOR TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 1, 2009 AT 5:30 P.M. - 6:30 P.M.

Have you always wanted to know more about Florida and Walton County history? Are you looking for a great volunteer opportunity in Walton County? Become a volunteer and docent at the Walton County Heritage Museum. To qualify, volunteers need to attend a training session offered Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. at the museum at 1140 Circle Drive in DeFuniak Springs, Florida. Call the museum at 850-951-2127 to register. The Walton County Heritage Museum is part of the Walton County Heritage Association, a 501C3 nonprofit organization.


Rose, of Seagrove Beach, volunteering at the Walton County Heritage Museum. The museum is located at 1140 Circle Drive on historic Lake DeFuniak, DeFuniak Springs. Guests enjoy extending their stay in South Walton with a day trip to the museum and surrounding Victorian homes. Residents learn about their county's history and also enjoy another benefit of living in Walton County.
