Pt. Washington United Methodist Church in South Walton

Children's Palm Processional at both 8:30 and 11 am services. All children are invited to be a part of the Palm Processional. Meet in front of either the FLC (8:30) or Sanctuary (11) 15 minutes before the service starts.

Pt. Washington UMC is located at north end of 395 near Eden Gardens State Park. From 30A, cross 98, continue north just a few miles. It is about a 15 minute drive from Eastern Lake.

Also, Family Fun Easter Celebration. Join Pt. Washington UMC in the FLC (thats our new Family Life Center across street from Sanctuary) from 4 - 6 p.m. There won't be any egg hunting, but bring your baskets and there will be lots of goodies to take home. Fun for the entire family. Call the church office at 231-4928 to make dinner reservations.

The new FLC is a fantastic new facility for South Walton and the Pt. Washington United Methodist Church. Come check it out. Hope to see you there.

Does anyone know if Pt. Washington UMC or Good News UMC have nursery service for 3 year olds from out of town? We'll be visiting for the weekend and would like to attend an Easter Sunday service, but usually put her in the nursery at our home church. Thanks!

Hi Everytime, I called the Pt. Washington UMC church at 850-231-4928 and asked about nursery service. The answer to your question is Yes for Pt. Washington UMC. Both Easter services at 8:30 a.m. and then at 11 a.m. are in the new Family Life Center (FLC) and nursery is available. The nursery and children's Sunday School rooms are also located in this FLC building. Nursery is to left when you walk in front door. Email: pwumc@hughes.net and www.pwumc.org The FLC building will be the new building on your left as you drive in. Not sure about children's Sunday School schedule for Easter Sunday.

Will have to check with other friends about Good News UMC. I would imagine nursery is available, too. Have a safe trip to South Walton.

Have a safe and fun trip.

You are welcome. Just checked and there is also Children's Church and Children's Sunday School on Easter Sunday at Pt. Washington United Methodist Church. Didn't know if you would have older children with you, in addition to your three-year-old.

Thanks again! It's just us and the 3 year old. We're planning on attending one of the services and looking forward to it.

DuneLaker:

We attended the 11:00 service and really enjoyed it. Rev. Meadows gave a great sermon on the coexistence of fear & joy in light of Easter. Thanks again for the info.
