Need Thanksgiving Day Buffet Recommendations?

Hello All,

We will be visiting our 30-A Condo in Blue Mtn.Beach over Thanksgiving week. Can anyone recommend the better Thanksgiving Day Buffet Restaurants (or sit down places) along 30-A?? We will travel as far as Ft.Walton/Destin/Sandestin, etc. if necessary. Any help or recommendations will be appreciated. Looking forward to our Blue Mountain Beach visit with you folks.

Tom

During the last 3 or 4 years, our friends have eaten at the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. This year it cost $31.95 and one can eat anytime from 10:30-4pm. Check out there menu on the site.

We've spent the last two years at Tim Creehan's Beachwalk Cafe in Destin. It's right on the water and the buffet is de-lish.

I doubt the Baithouse will be open, but Fish Out of Water will probably have something since they are connected to one of the "top ranked hotels in the world."

Re: Need Thanksgiving Day Buffet Recommendations?

Thanks everyone for suggestions. We made reservations @ Sandestine Golf & Beach Resort (thanks Rogpurg). We liked all other suggestions & will visit them during our visit. Just got a little snow this week in MI & looking forward to warm weather in Blue Mountain Beach over Thanksgiving.

BaitHouse has had Thanksgiving dinner buffets the last few years and Fish Out Of Water has had Thanksgiving dinner later in the evening. BaitHouse has also had an order ahead service for turkey and trimmings to pick up on Thanksgiving Day. I haven't heard yet this year so if anyone knows, post here.

yes, baithouse and fish out of water are both doing thanksgiving meals. baithouse is during the day and fish out of water is in the evening. also they are doing the turkey takeout meal, they first told me it was only for watercolor residents or renters, but i told them i was local and they said i could do it too.
