I make customized theme and 3D specialty cakes, and have even dipped into making wedding cakes. Today’s economy doesn’t allow for the outrageous prices for specialty cakes and more and more people are relying on supermarket cakes (which can still be expensive) for their special occasions. There’s no questioning it, prices are extreme, but instead of paying big bucks for a specialty cake I will make you a gorgeous specialty cake for MUCH cheaper. I put a lot of time and hard work into each specialty cake I make and I believe a cake should taste as good as it looks. I bake simply for the joy and satisfaction which is why I do not charge such extreme prices!
