Looking for Dirt
Does anyone know where we can get a load of good soil delivered to our home from?
We've got a lot of planting to do and thought it would make more sense to get dirt delivered as opposed to buying bags of it. We have a neighbor who may want to join in too. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

I am as old as dirt, but can't help you!
What are y'all planting?

We recently picked up a load from the nursery on Chat Holly, but they may deliver as well.

The folks at Inlet Beach deliver mushroom compost, it makes plants very happy, but I must warn, it's a bit smelly at first. I think I paid around $85 for a truck load last year.

Just not sure we can find the time to do all we are doing and blog too!
Here is the list: Sweet William, Black Eyed Susan, 3 varieties of Zinnias, Sunflowers, Cosmos, Forget-Me-Not, Shasta Daisy, Dephinium, Cucumbers, Stringless Green Beans and just for fun, Beets!

We've picked up some sod there before, we will have to give them a shout! Thanks for the tip!

Do you happen to know the name or have a phone number to call? This must have been what one of neighbors had the other day ... some stinking was going on indeed! Thanks for the warning and the info!

Will keep you updated. A few of the Zinnias have just started to sprout up along with a couple of the sunflowers. It's so exciting watching nature perform!
Perhaps you could dig up some photos of your flower beds in Louisville. We would love to see them.
