Okay, so I'm waiting for the dryer to go off and decided to start blogging.

I absolutely hate coming home to a dirty house and a ton of laundry so we always make sure it is clean prior to leaving and all of the laundry is caught up. This way you have clothes when you return from said trip and don't have to rush into the act of laundry.

Yes it is an "act of laundry". I only say this because we have a bad habit of allowing it to pile up into a monumental task. Take heed all those out there looking for a new washer and dryer. Bigger is not always better. Granted I can seperate all of my clothes into there respective categories and do a single load each, but this is just way too much. Honestly it's been warm lately and yet I'm still sorting through a pile of jeans.

Ah well in about 48 hours I'll be way too intoxicated to care anymore. I'll update as the trip progresses. Expect shorter entries once we arrive in Key West.

So I've decided to address the issue of gay jokes. It all started with a vendor who didn't realize I was gay and made one. I wasn't offended I just politely pointed out that one should be careful.

I really don't find gay jokes offensive as long as they are in good taste. Friends who accept me for who I am and are not bigoted, hateful, or secretly wish I wasn't are people I consider to have good taste. Therefore jokes in good taste.

Having stated this I would like to point out that said jokes should not be made in mixed company. For example crowds of people who may not know each other and therefore could offend someone.

Otherwise try away, I've heard most of them and can probably tell you a few you've never heard.
