Gay Jokes

So I've decided to address the issue of gay jokes. It all started with a vendor who didn't realize I was gay and made one. I wasn't offended I just politely pointed out that one should be careful.
I really don't find gay jokes offensive as long as they are in good taste. Friends who accept me for who I am and are not bigoted, hateful, or secretly wish I wasn't are people I consider to have good taste. Therefore jokes in good taste.
Having stated this I would like to point out that said jokes should not be made in mixed company. For example crowds of people who may not know each other and therefore could offend someone.
Otherwise try away, I've heard most of them and can probably tell you a few you've never heard.

How come all of my gay friends know the best gay jokes, my black friends know the most offensive black jokes and I have even heard some bapstist jokes that make me embarassed from bapstist preachers-but I do not know of any white jokes or straight jokes? Does that mean I am a gay, black baptist? Man my wife & kids will be a little upset, but entertained. Just a thought. SonnyPosted 04-01-2008 at 10:55 PM by sonny
