On behalf of the CAA, Seaside Rep and Sinfonia, I'm extending a huge thanks to the many volunteers who worked so hard to make the Beaux Arts Ball & Artist Market happen!
Thanks also to Grand Boulevard and their amazing merchants - P.F. Chang's, Mitchell's Fish Market, Tommy Bahama's, Cantina Laredo and Emerald Coast Coffee for providing a beautiful venue and fabulous food.
Thanks to the artists who participated in the Artist Market on Saturday and donated their artwork for the cause.
And thanks to those who attended the Ball & Artist Market; your ongoing support is crucial to the health and longevity of the arts in Walton County, and we appreciate you!!!

Thanks Jennifer! We are really looking forward to 2010 and the continued collaboration of arts non-profits in our area. And yes, the volunteers really stepped up for this event and their hard work on behalf of the arts community is appreciated.
Without a strong arts and education presence in a community, there is no real community, just a place to live with some jobs, some roads, and if you are lucky like we are, a pretty beach. When people look to move to a new place, many look for a culturally vibrant community, and sometimes I think people take for granted that this just "happens" in communities. Our arts presence here doesn't "just happen"- it needs our help. Please keep our area culturally healthy by supporting your local arts non-profits.Posted 10-04-2009 at 11:03 AM by jdarg
