Allright, we know vinyl is back, and the labels are getting hip to it. Capitol has started the 'Back to Black' campaign, reissuing classic titles on 180-gram vinyl, and complete with original artwork. Here are some of the titles I've received so far:
Allman Brothers Band 'Fillmore Concerts'
Beach Boys 'Endless Summer'
Abba 'Album'
Velvet Underground 'Andy Warhol' (w/ banana sticker)
Guns n' Roses 'Appetite for Destruction'
Van Morrison 'Tupelo Honey'
Jimi Hendrix 'Are You Experienced?'
Jimi Hendrix 'Axis: Bols As Love' (Analog recording)
Police 'Zenyatta Mondatta'
Eric Clapton '461 Ocean Blvd'
& I can order many other titles. We also have a good selection of used vinyl, you just may find a treasure! There are other labels doing the reissue thang, such as Sundazed and 4 Men with Beards (with titles from Dylan,Kenny Burrell/Jimmy Smith, Byrds and many more!)
For serious audiophiles, the Numark USB turntable is ideal for transferring your vinyl to your computer. pronto! Word out!
