I thought I would continue the theme of engagement sessions in Seaside, FL with a slightly more colorful session that we photographed a couple of months ago. Take a look!

Ok -- I realized as I was typing that title that many of you who aren't around the wedding industry might not have heard of an engagement session!

So what the heck is that? Truth? It is just a wedding related term for a portrait session!

The engagement session is popular because it is typically the very first time that a recently engaged couple will have had their pictures professional taken. Often, they have a collection of snapshots from their dating career...but not many professional shots, and almost never of the two of them together.

So lots of couples like to have a really nice set of images to use for invitations, save the date cards, newspaper announcements, holiday cards...whatever!

So for all you parents out there...THIS is an engagement session!
