Two quick questions for anyone who might be able to help:
1. Does Bay County have a personal watercraft regulation similar to Walton County? :idontno:
2. Can you have bonfires on the beach without a permit in Bay County? :idontno:
Thank you!

I don't know, but I'd be willing to bet they frown on the bonfire. Walton County is known for being much more permissive in all things than Bay (or Okaloosa) County.
Personal watercraft, no clue.

regarding the personal watercraft, the way I understand it is that Walton County's rule is that you cannot launch them from the state parks (maybe that is a State rule :idontno:) Since Grayton Beach is the only lauchable site to the Gulf in WalCo, and it is a State Park, you cannot launch into the Gulf in WalCo unless you own Gulf-front property all the way to the Gulf and you launch from that property. You can launch into the Bay in WalCo at many public accesses.
Bay County may have similar rules, but it will be easier to put in in the Bay and quickly scoot out to the Gulf in Bay County than it would be to scoot all the way down to the East Pass of Destin from WalCo.
I believe the rules, once on the water, regarding speed and wake are State rules, not County.
