Hello everyone,
We have some people coming into town December 24th - 30th. We are wondering if any of you have suggestions for a vacation rental preferably in Seaside or Watercolor. The accomodations will be for 6 people and they are looking for something in the $600-800 a week range. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks so much

In looking online at the Watercolor website http://www.watercolorvacations.com/rental_rates.asp , the best you can do renting directly from them is $1400 a week for three bedrooms. I couldn't find any info on the Seaside website -- that website is horrible --just full of programming errors (for example, a SQL error occurred when I submitted a request for an accommodation during the time period you specified for 6 people). But from past experience when we were building our house in Seagrove, Seaside is much pricier than even Rosemary Beach, so we stayed at Rosemary Beach most of the time while building. You can probably find cheaper rates going through individuals who own in Seaside or Watercolor on www.vrbo.com (http://www.vrbo.com) . Hope this helps.

www.sowal.com (http://www.sowal.com). Kurt's done some gorgeous virtual tours so take a look at some of the offerings. Many SoWallers have their rentals there.

2Bohemians: I just pm'd you because we have two 3 bedroom cottages at the Cottages at Camp Creek -- It's not Seaside or Watercolor, but it's a very nice new community with a lovely uncrowded beach 1/2 mile from Alys Beach and a little over a mile from Rosemary Beach. If the guests are flexible about the location and willing to try something different, I think the prices would be much lower than those at Seaside or Watercolor.

I had family stay at Adagio in Blue Mtn Beach, and they loved it. They rented a 3 Bedroom and it ran right around $850.00 for the week. They have a heated pool, and its right on the beach.

I am interested in a rental for 1 month starting in April. The exact start date is flexible. Is this property available then and if so, what is the rent for an entire month?
