 We had the steamed blue crabs at Nicks last night and they were great. Too bad it is a forty minute drive from us or we would be there all the time. John had the fried mullet and that was great also.

We go to Nicks several times when we are in SoWal. My husband loves the crabs there.

Where is nick's????There is only one left, and it is in the sticks. :D
Nicks is located west of Freeport on Hwy 20.
Past Portland and the next little town is Basin Bayou.

Well worth the drive...it is the original Florida seafood restaurant and on the bay with great views to boot!!
They also have the best fried shrimp on the Bay.............
They butterfly the shrimp and bread them twice. yum yum...........
