Honey, just about everything is for rent. This place is a ghost town. We blocked ours out. I'd rather not rent than have more damage to deal with from people whom I'd have to offer a rental for less than the published price. Those paying top dollar do enough damage.

Our pool guy said that he's decided that animals, not human beings, rented at the beach this summer. He can spend an hour telling you horror stories.

I wish I was hearing this story only once, BR, but two good friends have told me pretty much the same as you about their cottages. I don't know why people acted so badly this summer, but it wasn't pretty. :(

I hope Ernesto fizzles because I have a wonderful renter in for Labor Day weekend and she's not going to drive for hours if the beach is nothing but rain and nasty weather. I can't say I blame her.

Whosyodaddy, fingers crossed for some nice renters for you!
