PENSACOLA – On Aug. 3 at 6 p.m., at Pensacola Museum of Commerce, August’s RadioLive guests will be Cicero Buck, Dread Clampitt and newcomers to RadioLive, Delta Reign.
RadioLive is a monthly, live celebration of acoustic music presented by WUWF 88.1 FM Public Radio. Admission is a non-perishable food item for Manna Food Pantries.
Based in London, Kim Wilkinson and Joe Hughes return on their annual American tour as the duo Cicero Buck. Wilkinson began her career in high school forming in her first band Perfect Strangers in Mississippi. Meanwhile, Hughes was enjoying success as one half of the English duo The Lover Speaks. They met in Nashville. Wilkinson moved to London in 2000.
Known for their individual instrumental virtuosity, the members of retro-grass band, Dread Clampitt wow audiences with their 4-part harmony, comprised of mandolin wizard Balder Saunders, guitarist Kyle Ogle, fiddler Justin Lewis Price-Rees and bassist Duke Bardwell.
Bluegrass band Delta Reign is based both in Alabama and Florida. Each member comes from a different bluegrass roots tradition giving the band its unique sound. Delta Reign members are Pat Murphy, banjo and vocals; Benita Murphy, bass and lead vocals; Norman Jeter, guitars and vocals.
