Ok - I am approaching 10 years of marriage and we have NEVER used our brand new wedding china. Anyone interested in buying it and if not does anyone have any ideas what I could do with it. Just looked it up and if someone wanted to buy new set today it would cost about $2300 - we would probably sell it for $550 (cost that our new china cost us!).
Here is description: If interested please pm me for pictures. Thanks

If you don't want to pack it and mail it, specify "for pickup only." That way the winning bidder will have to come to you to get it.

Mermaid, I tried and got no bites - actually I did get one - funny story - a nigerian who told me he could not wait for it - sent me a money order in amount of $3200 when sale price was $500 and asked for me to send him back the balance - I had good laugh with him - kept him going and then got mad when he would not let up......

Chickpea. I think the story you told about the Nigerian is a classic scheme in which you lose the $500. The money order was possibly fake or had some kind of problem. So, everyone, beware of those kinds of requests!
I have the Jefferson china pattern which is quite similar to your pattern and we love it. It is very durable (we use it often and put it in the dishwasher and it does fine). We have a LOT of it because we tend to entertain a lot (well, we used to). So, I'd vouch for the beauty and practical use of the china even though it is quite elegant.

Total cost probably around $6000.

There's also a place where you can sell it and they'll sell it to people piece by piece. We've bought china to match an old pattern of my parents' there. They may give you $500 for it. Look on the internet (carefully) for places that buy and sell china. I can't rmeember where we bought our's from. Watch out for scams!
