Royal Reds

Hi everyone. I am visiting the area for the first time next month. Can you tell me if Royal Red shrimp are available in the area? I will be at Seacrest Beach. I love Royal Reds and can't imagine a trip to the beach without them. A couple more questions...where would you recommend buying seafood and steaks that isn't too far from Seacrest Beach? Last question, where is the best pizza? Thanks, Christina

Publix had reds recently. Call them to be sure. There is a Publix just over the Bay county line near Seacrest. Goatfeathers II in Seagrove Beach is a good place for seafood. If you call ahead they can probably get you reds.

I buy steak at Modica market in Seaside. I get them to cut me 1-1/2" Angus rib eye. I believe they usually have NY strip and Filets also. I don't buy red meat at the grocery store. There is also Larder in Seagrove Beach but I prefer Modica.

Many favor Amore' Pizzeria in Gulf Place, myself included. Closer to you is Spicy Noodle.

You can usually find the reds at Shrimpers Seafood Market, located on Hwy 98 about 1 mile east of the western intersection of 98/30A.
