There used to be a truck just over the bridge with bales of pine needles
for sale. Does anyone know if they are still in business????
Pinestraw by the bail is available at just about any Home Depot or Lowe's.

Eastern Lake Nursery will also deliver. It takes a long time to get Home Depot to deliver(like 3-7 days).

Second the Eastern Lake Nursery. They are way more convenient. They charge $5 a bale if you pick it up there. I don't doubt you could get it cheaper in bulk or further away, but I usually only need 2 or 3 bales at a time.

Putnal's may not deliver smaller amounts.
We just had 50 bales delivered this week and they deliver in SoWal area alternating with some area elsewhere, so you might want to call ahead so you can plan around their delivery schedule.
We have sometimes in the past driven to their place on the N side of the bridge and loaded bales into our van.
They are very nice people to deal with. Ph# - (850) 668-0066 or 545-6064

there are a couple of companies around that also deliver and spread for about $6-8 bucks a bale....if you purchase more than 50 at a time.

You can rent the pickup truck from Home Depot by the hour, it is inexpensive if you can get your stuff dropped off in less than two hours. It may work out to be a little more expensive than if you had your own truck, but at least the job will be done!
