Go to www.weather.com (http://www.weather.com) and look at the 10-day.
Lately the temp has climbed into the 90s. It's quite humid and breezy and we haven't had any rain for a long while. Any day now I'm expecting to get the afternoon Tstorm pattern.
It's impossible to predict weather here more than 12-24 hours ahead.

No kidding! Last week when Hurricane Alberto was making huge waves at Grayton, we didn't have any rain to speak of- in fact, when my mom called to gloat about our "bad weather", I snickered and told her the sky was blue and the beach was gorgeous!
I was crossing my fingers for rain for you locals though- everything does look a bit crispy down there.

And your dew point is like 75. That is really humid. That's the exact same temps and dew pt. when we were in the Bahamas last week and we thought we were gonna sweat to death and have a heat stroke and just plain wither away. Unless you were flying fast on a boat or in the water, you melted.
I feel your pain. Drink lots of water, seriously.

Tell your friend to go to our website and click on the weather link, goose! Boy FuBar, SJ and Kurt will be missing out on some photo ops, with your friend being over in Destin! ;-) She'd probably make the homepage and RO would be in heaven!

We just started the summer T-storm pattern three days ago. I have to think SoWal's will start soon too.
Looked out the window today and saw that our yard is suddenly green. I thought the yard guy had come and quietly laid all the sod he's supposed to be putting down. Two weeks ago it was just dirt ... but nope, no sod, it's only weeds. At least it is raining again. ;-)

There is some tropical stuff forming SE of FL, and they have no idea what will become of it. It is possible it could send some weather this way by the weekend, but more likely will not.

On Monday, June 26, it will have been exactly 2 months since any rain has fallen at my house in BlueMountain Beach. Yikes!

The good news is that the yellow flies are not biting.

I had the same reaction earlier. We had a little rain (take what we can get!) this evening and it cooled things off by about 15 degrees. I know our lawn, and flowers appreciated it. WE sure did!

Everyone got a little "frisky". Well, after the thunder and lightning died down. ;-)

A little while ago, I felt a couple of drops. Currently there is a flash flood warning for Holmes Co (NE of SoWal). Looking at the radar right now, it looks like it the storms could break up and not amount to anything in SoWal. :bang:
I watched a nice lightning storm from the 331 bridge earlier, but didn't get any shots of the lightning. :(

Lightning was pretty awesome (to look at), but the rain went AROUND Point Washington. Not a doggone drop.
Co-workers tell me that DeFuniak, and also Miramar Beach, got slammed.

Looks like they have all migrated to Pt. Washington! And we only had the beautiful lightning storm, no RAIN! Power went out in Destin last night due to the lightning but no rain their either.
