How do you know when is the right time to get a shot like that or is it luck? You have too much talent for it to be luck! Love the photos :clap_1:

No - we were very lucky from what I've seen. The water came right up to the manufactured dunes. If Alberto comes a few miles to the west, or passed to the west like Arlene last year, we would have lost sand and walkovers. We have become vulnerable to the smallest of storms.

What's happening at D&K's? What's with the dumpster? Is it gone? Sorry if it is on another post. Just began working my way through to see how you guys survived Alberto.

Thanks for the photos, Kurt. As always, they're great. I, too, like the one with the big cloud hovering over the ocean. You took one like that before Ivan and I liked that one very much too. Do you know the right time to find those dark clouds over the ocean before a storm or are you a lucky guy and just go looking for such a view (or both)? On the other hand, I've heard it said that people who go out looking are likely to find their luck...

I love every day at the beach but especially when something is different. Sometimes I pay more attention to everything except what I'm supposed to be paying attention to.

Like the people I'm with.

The photos are awesome. Can't wait to get there July 1. Like everyone else we're keeping our fingers crossed that all the bad stuff stays away from Sowal this year!
