We will be at Grayton the weekend before the 4th :clap_1: . however, we will have to leave that morn. to get home for work the next day :( . Does anyone know what day and time the parade( if any this year ) will happen? and what about fireworks? We always see the most beautiful ones at Grayton. Will they be the night of the 4th or before(hopefully)? Can't wait to join everyone and yes Grayton "Park" Hobbs will be coming too. She is now 2 and the beach is second nature to her.

:welcome: Love the babies name. I have to ask this. I know you are new but if you have read the boards you know I have no shame. Was she conceived there?

It is about 4 miles south of Huntsville, Alabama. Just a little hole in the wall town, but I love it there. Where are you?

I lived in Montgomery for a year in the 80's. Another one of our fellow posters lives there, but he is too busy with work to post anymore and we sure do miss him!!!

Oh yeah. And Aunt Fran will be on top of the woody playing her accordian! :clap_1: Jfunn and I were in the Seaside parade a few years ago and we were dancing flowers. We won 2nd to some baton twirling geezers. It was sympathy for them. Actually...we may have gotten 3rd behind damn Heavenly Dawson's crew.

I'm in Montgomery. But I live in Prattville, just north of Montgomery. I love it there too but not as much as Grayton. I wish I could live there but not enough medical jobs near Grayton you know?

The 4th of July parade wouldn't be the 4th of July parade if it was on any other day. I think it usually begins around 7:30am.

Whew..I've been AWOL from SoWal boards, since the great computer crash.
We'll be down for the 4th and I can't wait for the parade. (I'm talking Grayton Beach, not Seaside).
My kids want to know if they can participate this year.
