I don't want to be a downer, but has anyone been studying the hurricane season forecasts? I am beginning to feel a little better. It seems to me that the concensus is that we will be in for less storms this year and with the high on the Atlantic back in place, odds increase that some go to NE.
I am so hopeful that the entire Gulf coast can get a much deserved break. :idontno:

i'll believe it when i see it - ask me in november, no, make that december
we get what we get when it gets there and all the hand wringing in the world will not change it
also, its a natural thing - just comes with the territory - i've mellowed a bit since the attack of the 'caines took everything away and can see now its not a terrorist attack but a natural phenomenon that's been happening for as long as there's been water and atmosphere
there are people that are going to get hurt and lose property no matter where the hurricaines go
about all you can do is pray - and i have done so, thankful that the people part (and the animals) came out reasonably ok given the situation and the ptsd that came from it

The Accuweather forecast was announced last night on WEAR. Stated that the Panhandle of Florida is in the "lowest risk" catagory to get a hurricane this year. The North East, Boston, etc, and the Carolinas are in the high risk zone as well as Texas.
I thought it was great news!!!

Or I'll just swim to Saks and save all the red bottom shoes. I guess we have the buildings we can all just climb up on. :rolling:
