Yesterday was quite windy and we had dbl red flags out for surf conditions. i spent a good bit of time in seaside yesterday, and met Joe. Joe ie the gentleman in charge of seaside's big projects and therefor the sand installation. he indicated that they would have worked yesterday and even had gotten an extension, but that both quarys(sp) have run out of white sand that is acceptable to use as replacement sand. so now we're in a pickle as to where the sand will come from in the future.
he was disapointed that agood portion of his work was already gone due to the light wind we had yesterday.
we walked along the beach from bud and alleys down to natchez street. what a mess. some people got sand, and some didn't. it will be interesting to see what remains after a really good storm.
not too much beach below roly-poly at high tide.
