 Last year when we were there Labor Day week we noticed on several occasions some people that would come by in kayaks, one turquoise green, one bright green ,and a white one with a woman, plus a red canoe with two women. The kayaks, at least the bright green one went along shore by our townhouse every day practically as we are at the beginning of Inlet Beach off of 98 just west of Bay County. I assume these people are locals of course and wonder if they are some that might post on here? They apparently came from west of us a few houses away! We were at 72C Walton Magnolia Ln.! Curious as to where all they kayak because we discovered the Econfina Creek and canoeing last year for the first time and loved it, but are kayaks easier to maneuver as I've heard? I would think they would be easier to turn over!

Thanks John R., will check out that sight. Unfortunately, my husband and I are not coming next month as originally hoped. Sure bursts my bubble!

kayaking is fun if you like water

i've got a hard shell one for quick access to the ponds

also one of those blow-up kayaks that store in the trunk for a quick fix
