Does anyone have any info about chartering a boat. I have some renters that are interested in getting a group together to charter one? Thanks, looking in the Santa Rosa Beach Area.

Fishing with a charter captain is great fun. Your group needs to determine exactly how many want to go. Then you can select the appropriate boat and captain. For example, many boats are limited to 3-4 people due to their size. Often the smaller boats are preferred because they are faster on the water. Therefore, less boat riding and more fishing.

Captain's licenses can also limit the group to six people, no matter the size of the boat. Larger groups require larger boats and a different level of licensing for the captain.

So, the answer is....it depends....
