Just 2.5 years ago I thought "Who would pay that much money to live across the street from the beach" :bang:

Anyone can have the Rosemary Beach zip code. All you have to do is rent a post office box at the Rosemary Beach post office. The zip code is specifically for the post office--Rosemary has no mail delivery to homes.
Soon to be number 120 - Freeport, Florida

When we moved here, nobody wanted to live here. My wife grew up in Destin, and it was a real attitudinal adjustment for her:)
Anyway, times they are a changin'!

When we were looking for a place, I could have bought a 2 bedroom flat at Rosemary Beach for about $420 I believe (the realtor was encouraging us to do that). That was March 03. We bought something else instead that we like even more (and cost much less) because we like a small community. But we love having Rosemary Beach just 1.5 miles away. One of these days I'll even take a walk there and look around! I'm glad for Rosemary Beach and glad we found a place that best suits us, too!
