I would not expect them to be up after today, but you never know because that is not only based on swell height but currents and rip tides also. www.Magicseaweed.com (http://www.Magicseaweed.com) is a good site to see wave models to get an idea of what is going on in the gulf. Click on the swell image to see an animation of what the waves will be doing over the next few days. http://magicseaweed.com/Destin-Surf-Report/851/

The body of a Louisiana man was recovered late Tuesday afternoon after he drowned in the Gulf of Mexico trying to save his family.
Tracy Lee Curling, 39, of Kenner, La., was spotted in an area off Eglin Air Force Base property about 90 minutes after he disappeared in the surf about 1:10 p.m.
Curling's wife phoned in the accident and she and other family members watched from Eglin property as fire departments, deputies, the Coast Guard, airmen, Florida Fish and Wildlife and lifeguards looked for her husband from the shore, water and air.

Check back soon for video.
Curling entered the rough surf to get to a child and his sister who were struggling. He was on a boogie board, but became separate from the board and went under the waves.
Double red flags were flying on Okaloosa Island Tuesday afternoon.

Wow, what a great site! Thank you!
Please keep in mind that while a great site it is not the be all and end all. Please refer to www.swfd.org (http://www.swfd.org) for current flags and beach conditions.
